Cookie policy
Last updated October 5, 2026
Stratum does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics. We use browser storage (local storage rather than cookies, in most cases) for two things: keeping the site working, and — only with your permission — anonymous first-party analytics.
Analytics records which pages are visited, roughly where from (country and region, as provided by our hosting network) and how the visit arrived. Your IP address is never stored and nothing is shared with advertisers.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sign-in session | Essential | Keeps you signed in to Stratum and protects your account. | Until you sign out |
| stratum_consent_v1 | Essential | Remembers the privacy choice you made in the banner. | Until you clear it |
| Theme preference | Essential | Remembers light or dark mode inside the app. | Until you clear it |
| stratum_visitor_id | Analytics (optional) | A random anonymous id so we can count visits and see which pages help. Only set if you allow analytics; removed when you reject. | Until you clear it or reject |
Changing your choice
You can change your choice at any time. Rejecting analytics stops tracking straight away and deletes the anonymous id from your browser.
