Terms

These terms are between Stratum Technologies ("Stratum", "we") and you. They cover this website and, where no separate signed agreement applies, access to the Stratum product. By using the site or the product you accept them.

If your company has signed a separate agreement with us — a design partner agreement, an order form, a data processing agreement — that agreement governs your use of the product and takes precedence over anything on this page that conflicts with it.

Stratum analyzes a compensation decision against the framework, rules and data your company configures, explains the evidence behind it, and recommends a defensible path.

Stratum does not make pay decisions. It does not approve or deny them, and it does not set anyone’s pay. A person at your company makes every decision, and Stratum records the reasoning. Recommendations are informational and depend entirely on the accuracy of the configuration and data you provide.

Nothing Stratum produces is legal, tax, accounting or HR advice. Your company remains responsible for its own employment and pay compliance obligations, and for every decision it makes.

You may read the site and use the Request Access form. Please do not attempt to break, overload, scrape or probe it, do not try to reach data that is not yours, and do not submit someone else’s personal information without their permission.

Access to the product is currently by invitation. If you hold an account, keep your credentials to yourself — you are responsible for what happens under your account, and you should tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.

Demo and trial workspaces exist so people can see how Stratum behaves. They are not intended for real employee data, and we may reset or remove them at any time.

Compensation and employee data your company puts into Stratum belongs to your company. You give us only the permission we need to host and process it in order to run the service for you.

You are responsible for having the right to provide the data you upload, and for it being accurate. Because compensation data is sensitive, please upload only what a compensation workflow actually needs.

Stratum is in active development and is offered to early partners as it is. Features change, behaviour changes, and we do not promise any particular level of availability or uninterrupted access.

Keep your own records. Stratum should not be your company’s only copy of anything you would be sorry to lose.

The Stratum software, its design, its content and the Stratum name remain ours. Using the site or the product does not transfer any of it to you.

To the fullest extent the law allows, the site and the product are provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of your use of the site or the product. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You can stop using Stratum at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are being misused, or if we need to for security or legal reasons. Where a signed agreement covers your access, its termination terms apply instead.

If we change these terms we will update this page and change the date below. If a change is significant and you hold an account, we will make a reasonable effort to tell you rather than relying on you noticing.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
